ABOUT
Karen Batcheller MSN, RN, NPD-BC, CCRN

My teaching adventure began in 2008. My clinical experience was in critical care and post-anesthesia care. I wanted to stay in the acute care environment, so I concentrated on hospital-based education.

I am an education coordinator PRN at a local Level 3 trauma center. My responsibilities include preparing new nurse graduates for professional practice and supporting staff nurses in their professional development.

Of all the classes I have facilitated, I have always loved teaching ECG interpretation the best.
My primary goal in teaching the Basic ECG Recognition and Interpretation class is to share my enthusiasm and love of ECGs with you!

I also have two pets a cat named Gracie and a German Shepherd named Ada. I enjoy ballet and Zumba.
